Athletics

Athletics Involvement

The Athletic Departments support is an integral part of StevensTHON. Majority of our athletic teams have registered pages and actively raise money. Teams also host fundraisers and hold awareness games for Children's Specialized Hospital. As a whole this past year, the athletic community raised over 6% of our fundraising total of $36,183.04! StevensTHON is a great way to have fun with your teammates while raising money for an amazing cause. We are very thankful for the support that we received in our inaugural year from the athletics community and are looking forward to another great year!

If you are a coach and would like to host an awareness game for Children's Specialized Hospital, please email stevensthon@gmail.com

It has been our honor to participate in this fantastic cause! StevensTHON has helped our team come together and brought considerable brightness to our days at home. FOR THE KIDS!

Field Hockey

We are pleased to have a tradition of supporting StevensTHON! We are proud to have two field hockey student-athletes in leadership roles within THON, Emily Walker: Executive Director and Anna Cooper: Morale Captain. It is wonderful to see their hard work pay off with such an amazing event. The other members of the field hockey team are dancers and we thank them for supporting THON in any way they can. We are proud to support StevensTHON.

Our field hockey program has enjoyed a great deal of success in recent years. We began this year with an unforgettable team trip to Argentina! We had the chance to play against amazing competition, learn about the culture and bond as a team. The memories we made there will be with us forever! This year, we competed in our inaugural season in the MAC Freedom! We made it to the conference tournament for the 11th time in 12 years. Our team is focused on elevating our game to the next level. We had three incredible seniors, Emily Sneddon, Ireland Tawney and, Michaela Thompson. Their commitment to the team is unparalleled and we thank them for their years of dedication. We are excited for what the future brings!

Men's Soccer

Stevens Men’s soccer is honored to be a part of this year's dance marathon. As a group we wish we could have unified dancing as one during the dance marathon. Be sure we will all be dancing at home! We are especially proud of our Senior Andy Diaz for taking on the Role of Morale Captain and Grant Conaghan for Morale/ Hospital Relations chair!

Men's Volleyball

Stevens Men’s volleyball is proud to support StevensTHON. It is great to see all different athletic teams and organizations come together to support a great cause! Unfortunately due to Covid-19 our 19-20 season was cut short but we were still able to have a successful season! The team ended the season ranked #5 in the nation, and received numerous team and individual accolades.

Track and Field

Stevens Track & Field had a great 2019 season. Our first year in a new conference ended with our men’s team winning the conference championship. We had a large group quality for the regional meet and sent one athlete to Nationals. Stevens Track and Field is heavily involved in StevensTHON as a lot of our athletes enjoy being a part of something bigger than themselves, much like what it’s like to be on a track and field team.

Women's Lacrosse

Women's Soccer

Women's Volleyball

We had a great season with a record of 22-12 and going undefeated in the MAC conference. We got to go to Minnesota and play really great competition which helped us clinch the MAC conference champions title.
